Police in New Brunswick are asking the public for help after a “shooting incident” in Chipman.
RCMP said around 7 p.m. Saturday, a man called police to report he was shot at while travelling on Highway 10. He was not hurt.
Police are now searching for a grey Ford or Chevrolet pickup truck which they believe may be involved in this incident. Officers are also making a public appeal for an information in what they are calling an isolated incident.
“Any detail, no matter how small, could help further the investigation,” said Cpl. Matt Traer in a news release.
Police said anyone who has video footage or witnessed the shooting is asked to call the Minto RCMP at 506-327-1820 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
The RCMP said officers remain in the area as part of the ongoing investigation.
