Nick Kirmse joined the CTVNews.ca team in 2017, working as a graphic designer and news writer before joining the digital content editing team in 2019.
He specializes in livestream content, spearheading CTVNews.ca's live coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, special coverage of the 2020 U.S. election, and the CTV News exclusive fireside chat with filmmaker James Cameron.
Nick is a graduate of Western University with a master's degree in journalism and communications, where he received The London CAC/Rogers Cable T.V. Student Research Awards in Journalism for academic excellence.
He speaks English.
