Mounties searching for missing Dauphin teen, last seen in December

Mounties are searching for a missing Manitoba teenager who hasn’t been seen since late last year.

Portage la Prairie RCMP say 16-year-old Darnelle Racette from Dauphin was reported missing on Jan. 10.

He was last seen on Dec. 28 in Dauphin, police say, but he is believed to be in the Portage la Prairie, Long Plain First Nation or Sandy Bay First Nation area.

He is described as six-feet-tall, weighing 200 lbs, with brown eyes and short black hair. He also has a Racette tattoo over his eye.

Police did not have a description of what he was wearing when he went missing.
