Winnipeg police to provide details on ‘use of force’ incident

The Winnipeg Police Service will speak about a “use of force” incident that resulted in a street closure Friday afternoon.

Police are scheduled to give an update at 2 p.m. CTV News will live-stream the event.

This comes after police closed King Edward Street between St. Matthews and Silver avenues due to a “major incident.”

Police said the section of street will be closed for several hours.
