Man sought in LaSalle fake cash investigation

The LaSalle Police Service is asking for the public’s help identifying a man in a counterfeit cash investigation.

On Feb. 10, police officers were notified of a report of fake money that was used in the 6000 block of Malden Road during the evening of Feb. 8.

Police say the suspect gave two counterfeit Canadian $100 bills for the purchase of Visa prepaid credit cards. The same suspect is believed to be involved in a similar incident that occurred on Feb. 7 in Windsor.

The suspect is described as male, 5’8”, medium build, fair skin, brown medium length hair with facial hair, wearing a black button up long sleeve, black ripped jeans, and black and white mid-top running shoes.
