Cool, cloudy conditions Sunday ahead of rollercoaster week of temps

Spring is right around the corner, and we’ll get a taste of that this week — albeit only for a day or so.

Cloudy with a chance of flurries Sunday and a high of zero degrees, feeling more like minus 18 at times with the wind chill.

Clear conditions expected Sunday night, feeling like minus 14 overnight.

The week ahead sees some fluctuating temperatures. While Monday’s forecast high is plus 4 degrees, it will feel like minus 14 in the morning. Warming up a bit Tuesday with a high of 7 degrees. Come Wednesday, an unseasonal 13 degrees is expected before it drops right down again Thursday to a high of plus 4.

Sunday: Becoming cloudy this morning. 40 percent chance of flurries this afternoon. Wind becoming west 20 km/h near noon. High zero. Wind chill minus 18 this morning.

Sunday night: Clearing late this evening. Wind up to 15 km/h. Low minus 9. Wind chill minus 6 this evening and minus 14 overnight.

Monday: Sunny. Increasing cloudiness near noon. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 near noon. High plus 4. Wind chill minus 14 in the morning.

Tuesday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers. High 7

Wednesday: Periods of rain. High 13.

Thursday: Flurries. High plus 4.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. High plus 3.
