Attention green thumbs: Windsor hosting plant sale this weekend

If you’re a Windsor-based plant lover, this weekend the annual Paul Martin Garden Perennial Plant Sale is taking place.

The City of Windsor is hosting it’s Annual Paul Martin Garden Perennial Plant Sale this weekend.

The 29^th annual event takes place Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jackson Park greenhouse complex at 2449 McDougall Street.

Volunteers from Parks, Recreation & Facilities will once again be on site to help you choose from more than 100 varieties of perennials, grasses, veggies, shrubs, herbs, and trees to spruce up your space.

Items can be purchased by cash, credit, or debit.

Every purchase you make will help support the historic Paul Martin Gardens, located just outside of Walkerville’s Willistead Manor and within Willistead Park.

The event will be held rain or shine. City officials recommend getting there early, as enthusiasts ensure that these plants will go fast.
