Suspect who stole over $4K worth of sunglasses sought by police in Prince George, B.C.

Police in Prince George, B.C., are requesting the public’s help in finding a suspect who stole thousands of dollars worth of sunglasses from a mall three months ago.

According to a release issued by Prince George RCMP, the suspect shoplifted around $4,500 worth of eyewear from a store in the Pine Centre Mall on Dec. 15.

“We recently received enhanced surveillance footage and are hoping a member of the public will be able to help identify the suspect from the still image,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

Police describe the suspect as a white male with brown hair, a slender build, and standing at around 5’7” tall.

In an image released by Prince George RCMP, the suspect is carrying a large green gift bag with a Christmas design on its front.
