Do you recognize this man? Suspect sought in North Vancouver salon break-in

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of salon supplies after breaking and entering a business in North Vancouver four months ago.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 1. at a business in the 1700 block of Marine Drive, said North Vancouver RCMP in a release Thursday.

CCTV had captured a male breaking the lock of a business and entering the building, from where he stole around $3,000 worth of hair tools and styling products, said police.

Cnst. Mansoor Sahak said police have “exhausted all avenues” in an attempt to identify the suspect, and are now appealing to the public for help.

“We are now releasing CCTV video of the break in, and still images, in an effort to identify the suspect,” he said.

Images captured from the CCTV show a white male with facial hair, wearing a black oversized hoodie, grey sweatpants and a blue and white cap with a star logo on the front.

Anyone who may have information about the incident or is able to identify the suspect is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file number 2024-20085.
