Peel police seek suspect in Brampton gas station shooting

Police in Peel Region are searching for an unknown number of suspects they believe are involved in a shooting at a gas station in Brampton.

Investigators say officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday near Goreway Drive and Queen Street East.

A white Acura RDX with Ontario license plate CLHW 001 fled the scene but was later recovered unoccupied, they said.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing and Peel Regional Police are asking anyone with information, including dashcam or surveillance footage from the area between 4 and 5 p.m. on Jan. 28, to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
