Southern Sask. communities without power due to storm-related damage

Several communities in southern Saskatchewan, including the Town of Eastend, are without power due to storm-related structure damage.

In a post on social media, the Town of Eastend says ‘SaskPower crews are scheduled to return Thursday morning to continue work. However, there’s no estimated restoration time available.’

SaskPower says customers in Eastend, Robsart, Vidora, Consul, Claydon and rural areas towards the US border and Alberta border remained without power overnight.
