Sask. man charged following child exploitation investigation

Balgonie man facing charges in relation to child exploitation investigation

A 33-year-old man from Spruce Home, Sask. has been charged following a child exploitation investigation.

On June 8, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit officers executed a search warrant at a home in the hamlet, located about 21 kilometres north of Prince Albert.

Police say investigators examined and seized electronic devices at the scene.

As a result, Christopher John Goreham was arrested the same day. He has been charged with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, one count of making such material available and one count of accessing it.

Goreham made a court appearance on June 9 and was released with conditions.

He is scheduled to return to court on June 25 in Prince Albert provincial court.
