Police make arrest after Saskatoon man stabbed several times

A 21-year-old Saskatoon man is facing an aggravated assault charge following a stabbing early Friday morning.

At around 4 a.m., officers responded to a call about an injured man in an apartment in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release.

Arriving officers found a 28-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be several stab wounds.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Soon after, police located the 21-year-old suspect in the 200 block of Avenue R South and arrested him.
