Regina man charged following child exploitation investigation

A Regina man has been charged with child exploitation-related offences following investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE).

Investigators with the ICE unit executed a search warrant at a home in Regina on May 14, where they examined and seized electronic devices, according to an update from the Regina Police Service (RPS) on Thursday.

As a result, Donavon Blacksioux, 36, was arrested and charged on June 10 with possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, as well as making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

He appeared in court on Thursday and was remanded until his next court day set for June 17 at Regina Provincial Court.
