Vehicle strikes pedestrian, building in Centretown

Ottawa paramedics say a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle struck in Centretown on Friday.

Ottawa paramedics say a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Centretown on Friday.

According to paramedics, a vehicle left the road and struck a building near the intersection of Laurier Avenue and O’Connor Street.

Paramedics say a man in his 20s, who was on the sidewalk, was hit and suffered serious injuries. Paramedics transported the man to the Ottawa Hospital trauma centre.

Paramedics say three other patients were assessed at the scene and then released.
