Risk of snow squalls in the forecast for Ottawa this Sunday

A risk of snow squalls is in the forecast for Ottawa late Sunday afternoon.

Environment Canada calls for a high of -3 C and snow amounting to two centimetres today. A low of -17 C and a 40 per cent chance of flurries are expected for tonight.

A mix of sun and cloud with a high of -5 C are anticipated for Monday. Cloudy periods and a low of -12 C are expected overnight.

Snow will make a comeback Tuesday, as the weather agency is forecasting a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high of -8 C. For the night, the weather agency is calling for a low of -21 C with cloudy periods.

The average temperatures for this time of year are a high of -5 C and a low of -14 C.
