Ottawa police investigating stabbing in city’s west end

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a weekend stabbing at a bar in Ottawa’s west end that sent one person to hospital with injuries.

Emergency crews responded to an altercation that occurred at a bar on Baxter Road at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday.

“During the incident, one man was stabbed and sustained injuries,” according to police.

“Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident.”

On Sunday, police released photos of two potential witnesses that investigators wanted to speak with. On Thursday, police said the two witnesses have been identified and the investigation continues.
