Ottawa police investigating evening shooting in Barrhaven

The Ottawa Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating an evening shooting in Barrhaven’s Half Moon Bay neighbourhood.

Police say 9-1-1 received a call at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday reporting shots fired in the 900 block of Nokomis Place.

No injuries were reported.

Video posted on social media showed several police cruisers on Nokomis Place, with police tape blocking the road Sunday evening.
