Two men charged in North Bay with multiple break-and-enters

Police in North Bay have arrested two men for multiple break-and-enters that took place from Jan. 20-29 in the city.

“The accused and co-accused unlawfully entered several businesses throughout the City of North Bay and stole items of various kinds,” police said in a news release Thursday.

“Police executed a search warrant on a storage locker associated with accused … and recovered a large quantity of stolen property.”

They were also found with five grams of what police suspect is crystal meth when they were arrested.

A 56-year-old man has been charged with three counts of break-and-enter, two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of drug possession. He was released with a court date of March 4.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with one count each of break-and-enter and drug possession. He was held in custody ahead of a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
