Body found on Timmins’ Airport Road; no foul play suspected

Timmins police say a body was found on Airport Road in the city on Wednesday afternoon, with no evidence suggesting foul play.

The Timmins Police Service responded to a call about the discovery and secured the scene upon arrival. Officers are working with the coroner to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

“The investigation remains ongoing with the coroner,” police said in a news release.

Authorities confirmed that next of kin has been notified and the police service extended condolences to those affected by the incident.

Police have not released any identifying details about the deceased.
