Montreal prepares for another mix of weekend weather

Those in the Montreal area are in for more mixed weather this weekend.

A severe thunderstorm watch issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is expected to clear by Friday overnight.

An above-seasonal nighttime low of 19 degrees Celsius is forecast to lead to a high of 28 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Though it could feel more like 31 degrees Celsius with the humidity.

Saturday will bring the most pleasant weather this weekend, with mainly sunny skies expected as well. The mercury will then return to a low of 19 degrees Celsius at night.

Sunday will likely bring clouds and rain beginning early in the day. Roughly 16 millimetres are forecasted for the greater Montreal area.

Sunday night could bring another above-seasonal low of 17 degrees Celsius. The normal overnight low at this time in June is 13 degrees Celsius.
