Three London women arrested, suspect at large in connection to downtown robbery

The London Police Service has arrested three women in connection to a robbery that took place in downtown London on Thursday morning.

According to police, a female victim was visiting someone at a home in the 600-block of Dundas Street. When she tried to leave, a suspect stopped her, “forcibly confining her” in the home.

Around 3:15 a.m., a man came to the home to pick up the victim and they left on foot. Not far away, the LPS said the male and female victims were approached by three women, and another unidentified person. The victims were allegedly assaulted in the area of Dundas and Adelaide Streets. Drugs, money, and jewelry was taken.

When officers arrived to the reported robbery, the unidentified suspect ran northbound, while the three women were chased to the Dundas Street home. More officers were dispatched to search the area.

The three female suspects were arrested. Minor injuries were sustained by the victims.

A 50-year-old woman, 35-year-old woman, and 43-year-old woman, all from London, are charged with one count of robbery/theft from a person with violence.

The fourth suspect has not been found.
