‘The weekend is looking great’: Summer-like weather expected this long weekend

Sunshine and warm weather kicks off your Victoria Day long weekend.

“It’ll be fresh first thing this morning, but temperatures climb this afternoon,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “. It’s the turning point in terms of the spring warmth.”

Atchison says the next chance for showers is Saturday, but it won’t be an ‘all-day’ rain.

“Other than that, the weekend is looking great. Temperatures heating up so we go from spring to summer over the holiday weekend,” she said.

Some more chance for rain on holiday Monday and into the workweek, but temperatures stay high.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 24.

Sunday: Sunny. High 26.
