Intimate partner violence investigation leads to charges in Huron County

Huron County OPP say their investigation into a matter involving intimate partners began on Jan. 31 in the Town of Goderich.

According to police, the involved suspect had committed several criminal acts against their partner.

A 53-year-old Goderich resident was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, forcible confinement, and three counts of failing to comply with probation.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing and later remanded into custody.
