Highway closures due to deteriorating road conditions

OPP responded to a tractor trailer rollover on Highway 402 at Wonderland Road as winter weather hammered the region Friday.

Provincial police had their hands full Friday with multiple crashes, including a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 402 at Wonderland Road.

An OPP spokesperson told CTV News a transport was heading west when a crash occurred, which also involved four passenger vehicles.

The transport crossed the centre median and came to a stop in the eastbound lanes.

There were no further collisions as a result.

No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic was backed up for several kilometres.

Meanwhile OPP also reported that all lanes of Highway 401 at Cedar Creek Road and Oxford Road 29 are closed due to two multi-vehicle collisions and poor weather and road conditions.

In Norwich Township, OPP are urging drivers to use caution after a truck rolled into the ditch in the westbound lanes of Highway 403.
