Former roommate charged for threatening behaviour: Guelph Police Service

A Guelph man is facing charges after police said he threatened his former roommate while holding a knife.

Guelph Police Service officers were called to a home near Norfolk Street and Paisley Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. They were told a man came to the home and banged on the glass door while holding a knife and threatening the person inside.

Officers found the suspect at another address downtown later that night and arrested him.

A 61-year-old man has been charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.
