Police investigating after attempted vehicle theft in Waterloo

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating after an attempted vehicle theft in Waterloo.

Officers were called at approximately 6:45 p.m. Monday about the attempted theft in the area of King Street North and Northfield Drive.

Police are looking to speak to the registered owner of the vehicle shown in the provided image.

“They may have witnessed the incident leaving the parking lot of a nearby gas station,” police said in a media release.
