Pet food stolen from Pet Valu in Paris, Ont.

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police released this image of a suspect in a theft in Paris, Ont.

Police are looking for a suspect after pet food was stolen from a store in Paris, Ont.

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police were told the theft happened around 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 at a Pet Valu store on Rest Acres Road.

They say a female suspect walked into the store just before closing time, picked up several pet food items and then ran out without paying. She was last seen heading toward a Home Hardware store before she disappeared.

She has light brown or blonde hair and wore a black jacket.
