No injuries in Fergus fire

Emergency crews in Fergus, Ont., say there were no injuries reported after a fire broke out at a home on Courtney Street Wednesday.

According to the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), crews were called to the home around 3 p.m.

Residents inside the building and neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Courtney Street was closed for several hours as crews fought the fire but the area has since reopened.

The fire is considered to be non-suspicious.
