Alexandra Pinto

Alexandra Pinto is CTV Kitchener’s Community Weather Host. She joined the team in 2014 and, over the next decade, covered breaking news, investigative features and community initiatives as a reporter and then Producer, Host and Anchor of CTV News at Six. She also anchored for CTV News Channel and worked for CTV News Toronto and Global News Toronto. Alexandra has helped shape the next generation of journalists in foundational reporting, ethics and multimedia storytelling as an instructor at Conestoga College. She is a graduate of Fanshawe College’s Television Broadcasting and Broadcast Journalism-TV News programs. Alexandra loves spending time outdoors and, on weekends, explores local trails with her husband Matthew and rescue dog Kodak.
