Man killed in single-vehicle rollover in eastern Alberta

One person died in a single-vehicle rollover in eastern Alberta over the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to Highway 610 near Range Road 42, just west of Edgerton, at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.

The 59-year-old Edgerton man driving the Ram pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene; no one else was in the vehicle.

The cause of the crash has not been released.

Edgerton is about 240 kilometres southeast of Edmonton.
