Stabbing in southwest Calgary leaves victim in serious condition

Calgary police are investigating an apparent stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning in the city’s southwest.

One person is in custody.

The incident happened shortly before 10 a.m. in the 100 block of Glacier Drive S.W.

According to police, officers were called to a residence and found “a person suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds.”

Police say the person was taken to hospital “in serious condition.”

Investigation of the incident continues.
