One in hospital, one in custody after shooting in northeast Calgary

Calgary police say charges are pending against a man who was arrested following a shooting on 38 Street N.E. on Sunday afternoon.

One man is recovering in hospital after a shooting in northeast Calgary.

Police believe it was targeted and while the victim was originally listed in life-threatening condition; he is now listed as stable.

Investigators also located a vehicle involved in the shooting and arrested one man without incident.

It happened in the 10000 block of 38 Street N.E. around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The investigation is in its early stages but police do not believe the public is in danger.
