Passenger extricated from vehicle after Seton crash

Calgary emergency crews respond to a crash in the intersection of Seton Drive and 52 Street S.E. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

One person was injured in a crash in the community of Seton Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Seton Drive and 52 Street S.E. just before 8 a.m. for a two-vehicle collision.

Alex Kwan, public information officer with the Calgary Fire Department, says a total of six people were in the vehicles.

“One occupant that was in the passenger side of a vehicle was unable to get out and had moderate injuries,” Kwan said.

Firefighters worked to stabilize the vehicle and get the other passengers out safely before the injured passenger was extricated.

“Our crews removed the roof to have better patient access to safely remove that patient,” Kwan said.

EMS say the patient, an adult, was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
