Calgary police release name of Sunridge hotel homicide victim

Calgary police have released the name of a man found dead in a Sunridge hotel over the weekend.

Police found 42-year-old Jerry Wayne Bull in the Emerald Hotel and Suites on Sunridge Boulevard N.E. on Sunday evening.

Following an autopsy, Bull’s death has been classified as a homicide.

One person was taken into custody from the hotel, but police said Tuesday that they had been “remanded on unrelated warrants” and not charged in connection with Bull’s death.
