After a standout season last summer, CTV Barrie, Pure Country 106, BOUNCE 104.1, and the Downtown Barrie BIA are excited to announce the return of the Troubadour Festival Summer Concert Series – presented by Paul Sadlon Motors. Building on its growing success, the Troubadour Festival has been recognized as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals by Festivals and Events Ontario, underscoring its impact on the province’s arts and culture scene.
New this year is expanded programming, an elevated stage experience at Meridian Place, new regional talent, and the return of the highly successful Local Opener Showcase.
“Being named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals is a wonderful recognition of the many years of creative collaboration that have helped shape the Troubadour Festival and Downtown Barrie’s summer music scene. The current format is an exciting new chapter, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming some incredible Canadian artists to the Meridian Place stage this summer,” said Craig Stevens, Executive Director, Downtown Barrie BIA.
CTV Barrie News Director, Justin Rydell, added, “CTV News Barrie, Pure Country 106, and Bounce 104.1 are thrilled to be part of bringing the Troubadour Festival Summer Concert Series back to downtown Barrie with our presenting sponsor – Paul Sadlon Motors.
