New this year is expanded programming, an elevated stage experience at Meridian Place,
new regional talent, and the return of the highly successful Local Opener Showcase.
“Being named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals is a wonderful recognition of the many years of creative
collaboration that have helped shape the Troubadour Festival and Downtown Barrie’s summer music scene.
The current format is an exciting new chapter, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming some incredible
Canadian artists to the Meridian Place stage this summer,” said Craig Stevens, Executive Director,
Downtown Barrie BIA.
