School bus cancellations

Snow, ice, wind and more snow has forced school bus/vans cancellations in the western part of central Ontario.

Blizzard-like winds and heavy snowfalls have left many still digging out from the last four days of nearly constant snowfall.

The Shared School Services Transportation department has cancelled buses across the western region, including Flesherton, Markdale, Meaford, Thornbury and Owen Sound on Wednesday.

The Bluewater District School Board reports 30 of its 40 schools are closed Wednesday.
