Driver charged after blowing more than three times legal limit: OPP

A female driver is facing multiple charges after she reportedly blew more than three times the legal limit in an impaired driving investigation.

According to Orillia OPP, officers were patrolling city streets when they conducted a traffic stop at around 8 p.m., which led them to an impaired driving investigation.

The 42-year-old female driver from Barrie was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired (80-plus), controlling a vehicle with an open container of liquor and three other licensing-related offences.

Police remind the public to report drivers who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
