Brass knuckles, cash and cocaine netted in Muskoka drug bust

A months-long investigation led to a big drug bust in Muskoka.

Two people were arrested on May 7 after police executed search warrants for suspected drug trafficking activity.

Muskoka Street Crime investigators, with the assistance from the Southern Georgian Bay Community Street Crime Unit, OPP K9 Unit, and Bracebridge OPP, arrested the duo in Bracebridge.

Police uncovered cocaine, Canadian cash, weapons and paraphernalia related to drugs.

A 43-year-old woman and 42-year-old man both of Bracebridge were charges with multiple trafficking charges, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of property obtained by crimes over $5,000.

They will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 9 to answer to their charges.
