Barrie’s Sunday airshow pushed back by an hour and a half

If you’re hanging out at Barrie’s waterfront hoping to see the Canadian Snowbirds take flight, you will have to pack your patience.

According to the City of Barrie and the Barrie Airshow social media accounts, the Airshow expected to take place Sunday afternoon is delayed by an hour and a half.

The show was first delayed by an hour before the extra half hour was tacked on.

The daytime air display that was planned to start at 1 p.m. will now begin at 2:30 p.m.

The delay is due to weather conditions as rain continues off and on throughout the day.

Environment Canada says Barrie can expect around 10 to 15 mm of rain.
