73-year-old Janetville driver killed in Kawartha Lakes crash

A 73-year-old Janetville man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Kawartha Lakes.

Emergency crews were called to Century Farms Road in Manvers Township around 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday.

According police, the vehicle left the road and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Century Farms Road was closed between Gray Road and Highway 7A for several hours as officers investigated.

Police say members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team assisted with the investigation.

Officers say they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone who witnessed it or has dashcam footage from the area at the time is encouraged to contact police.
