$10,000 in coins stolen from laundromat: OPP

Provincial police are investigating the alleged theft of $10,000 in coins from an Orangeville laundromat.

Provincial police say someone stole $10,000 in coins from a laundromat in Orangeville.

Officers were called to the laundromat on Broadway on Thursday for a report of a break-in that had happened several days earlier.

Police say a suspect entered the facility around 2 a.m. on Saturday and stole coins from a change machine.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, five feet eight to five feet 10 inches tall. He wore a black jacket, black gloves, and had a white paisley-patterned mask over his face.

Police urge business owners and staff to keep an eye out for an individual matching this description trying to pay with a large quantity of change.
