Boy missing near Musquodoboit found safe: N.S. RCMP

A missing five-year-old boy was found in the Halifax area on Friday.

An Alert Ready message has ended in the Halifax area after a missing boy was found safe.

The five-year-old was last seen around 8 a.m. Friday at a home on Cooks Brooks Road in Elderbank, a farming community in the Musquodoboit Valley area of Nova Scotia.

Police said he may have be unclothed and asked people to check their yards for any sign of him.

In an update issued around 10:15 a.m., police said he has been found and is safe.

Officers will be clearing the area soon.
