N.S. man facing child pornography charges: RCMP

A 48-year-old man from Bible Hill, N.S., has been charged with child pornography offences.

Police say officers searched a home on Pictou Road on Dec. 12, 2024, after an electronic service provider notified law enforcement that child pornography was being shared using their service.

During the search, police say officers seized electronic evidence.

As a result of the search and subsequent investigation, police arrested Adam Franklin on Tuesday, according to an RCMP news release.

Franklin has been charged with:

- transmitting child pornography

- two counts of possessing child pornography

Police say Franklin is also facing a previous charge of invitation of sexual touching.

He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Truro provincial court on March 12.
