Police still looking for New Brunswick man reported missing a year ago

The Oromocto RCMP is still looking for a man reported missing from Waasis, N.B., a little over a year ago.

Police say 48-year-old Michael Keetch was last seen on Nevers Road on April 12, 2025. Keetch was reported missing to police on April 30, 2025.

The RCMP told CTV News Atlantic a Hyundai Elantra connected to the case was found in the Keswick River on June 5, 2025.

Police initially indicated early Tuesday that the vehicle was a recent discovery, but later clarified that the car was actually found last year.

Keetch is described as roughly six-foot-two and 253 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
