Lindsey Deluce

News Anchor, CTV Your Morning

Prior to becoming news anchor for CTV Your Morning, Lindsey Deluce was CP24 Breakfast’s news anchor and the anchor for CP24's weekday morning news. Deluce has anchored continuous coverage of some of the biggest news stories in Canada and around the world including the controversial happenings involving former mayor Rob Ford, the 2015 Paris attacks, and the playoff runs of both the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Raptors. Reporting from the field, Deluce also delivered CP24’s coverage of the 2011 Canadian federal election live from Michael Ignatieff's campaign headquarters, and captured the mayhem of the G20 protests on the streets of Toronto in 2010. Deluce’s passion for the arts led her to study drama at Oxford University in England; at Rodean School in Johannesburg, South Africa; and at Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City. In 2002, she completed a bachelor of arts degree in film and sociology from Queen's University in Kingston, Ont. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in broadcast journalism from Seneca College at York University in Toronto, where she was the award recipient for best overall radio and television newscaster. Deluce is always up for the next adventure and acquired her scuba diving licence and her private pilot's licence. After completing her broadcast journalism diploma, Deluce moved to Halifax and was hired by CTV Atlantic as a reporter/anchor shortly after. Following two-and-a-half years of reporting on top stories in the Maritimes, Deluce took the opportunity to return to Toronto as a remote host and anchor for CP24 in 2009. Throughout the year, Deluce volunteers for several fundraisers and events. She is a two-time host of Thrill of Ascot in support of Best Buddies Canada, and has hosted the Easter Seals Telethon and the annual Walk So Kids Can Talk. Deluce has also moderated several events for Women of Influence and has been a member of the Branksome Hall Alumni Executive for three years. When she isn’t anchoring the news, Deluce can be found travelling, outdoors by a lake, or spending time with her husband and three young children. Deluce speaks English.
